Path of the Reveler

Class: Barbarian · Theme: Greek Mythology

Barbarians who walk the Path of the Reveler surrender themselves to a sacred frenzy of wine, song, and dance. Their Rage spills outward, drawing companions into reckless joy and leaving enemies caught between rapture and terror.

Placeholder commentary.

Revel of Battle (Level 3)

When you enter your Rage, you can draw others into your revel. Choose a number of other creatures you can see within 30 feet of yourself up to to your Proficiency Bonus.

Each chosen ally can use its Reaction to move up to half its Speed. This movement doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks.

Each chosen enemy must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 8 plus your Strength modifier and Proficiency Bonus) or be either Charmed or Frightened by you (your choice) until the start of your next turn.

Wine, Song, and Dance (Level 3)

You gain proficiency in the Performance skill and with Brewer's Supplies or one Musical Instrument of your choice. If you already have Performance proficiency, you gain proficiency in another skill of your choice.

In addition, when you finish a Short or Long Rest, you can share food, drink, song, or dance with a number of creatures, including yourself, equal to your Proficiency Bonus. Each chosen creature gains Temporary Hit Points equal to your Barbarian level and can end the Charmed or Frightened condition on itself.

Ecstatic Mind (Level 6)

While your Rage is active, you have Immunity to the Charmed and Frightened conditions. If you're Charmed or Frightened when you enter your Rage, the condition ends on you.

In addition, while a willing creature is within 10 feet of you and can see or hear you, it has Advantage on saving throws it makes to avoid or end the Charmed or Frightened condition.

Infectious Revel (Level 10)

Your revel no longer ends with its opening rush.

Encore. Once during each of your Rages, immediately after you hit a creature with a Strength-based attack, you can use your Revel of Battle feature again.

Leading Step. The following effect is now among your Brutal Strike options.

Leading Step. Choose one willing creature other than yourself within 30 feet of you. That creature can use its Reaction to move up to half its Speed. This movement doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks.

Ivy-Crowned Ecstasy (Level 14)

While your Rage is active, the following changes apply to your Revel of Battle and Encore features.

Broader Revel. The range becomes 60 feet, and you can choose a number of other creatures equal to twice your Proficiency Bonus.

Exultant Chorus. A chosen ally can move up to its Speed, rather than half its Speed. This movement doesn't provoke Opportunity Attacks, and the ally ignores Opportunity Attacks until the start of your next turn.

Panic and Rapture. On a failed save, a chosen enemy is Charmed by you or Frightened of you (your choice) until the end of your next turn, rather than the start of your next turn, and it can't make Opportunity Attacks until the condition ends.
